These things were like $400 when they came out, the only used ones I’m seeing online are $5-600. There wasn’t anything special about them except for some unique pickup configs on some, but that in no way justifies $1,000 for a Chinese Fender that didn’t sell very well over some pretty glaring quality issues. Quality of that Era is all over the place. Some of them pretty solid and some of them current entry level squire quality.
