These things were like $400 when they came out, the only used ones I’m seeing online are $5-600. There wasn’t anything special about them except for some unique pickup configs on some, but that in no way justifies $1,000 for a Chinese Fender that didn’t sell very well over some pretty glaring quality issues.
Quality of that Era is all over the place. Some of them pretty solid and some of them current entry level squire quality. Hardware and electronics might need some attention but sound quality is classic fender. The Mexican fenders in the past 10 years are better and actually quite impressive but have gone up significantly in price as well sadly.
Any thoughts. From what I’ve found this was is a made in china fender any thoughts on those or perhaps anyone owned this model, personally the overall idea of semi hollow p90 telecaster sounds great but I might just be delusional…. Good price, I’m sure it sounds nice.
Don’t listen to old dude, fender modern jazz masters were made in China in 2013ish with cgf all Chinese fenders will say cg for the most part s means squier and f means fender, they made starcasters, moderns, strat acoustics and numerous other lower quality. Cgf specifically is the Chinese modern players.
Apr 29, 2020 · Rest assured, though, that this is a Fender guitar in every way, shape, and form. The style, sound, and essence of the Modern Player Telecaster keep the traditions Fender has laid down. That means it has a solid ground to deliver great performance, sound, and playability. And, what’s best, it has a friendly price.
Jun 9, 2013 · The Chinese fenders are a complete problem to me, because I try not to buy anything that will give a cent to the Chinese government (Tibet situation) and there is also plenty of issues on how workers are treated. But Chinese fenders and squiers are mighty good.
HBs are the easy part. A good MIAB helps, too. Still…a shorter scale neck w/ heavier strings is a big part of that “meaty” sound. Virtually impossible to replicate w/out swapping necks. If you love the way an LP sounds, you will eventually love the way it looks…or at least accept the fact it HAS to look like that to sound like that.
May 20, 2013 · The Chinese bass only comes with a gig bag. Other differences are (1) the wood -- the Chinese bass is made from alder whereas the American version is made from ash. (2) The Chinese version has noise-canceling humbucking pickups, compared to the traditional single-coil pickups on the American bass. Fender describes the new bass this way:
Aug 7, 2012 · Have a buddy that want to sell me his fender "made in china". I would like to know besides the modern player thats silever and blk that came out a few
USA-made Fender Telecasters are made in California; Mexican-made Fender Telecasters are made in Ensenada; These factories are both owned by Fender (which is a very good thing) and are actually only 186 miles away from each other. It’s not uncommon for parts to be sent between factories.
Oct 2016. Nice small Local Bar with great Burgers. Good Drinks and cold Beer. The customers are fun and the bartenders are great people!! “ Cold Beer ”. Sep 2015. May 17, 2020 · The Indo was fine, but just liked the look and feel of the early Chinese more. I had a 2008 CV60s worked on by a well respected luthier (and a former Fender Custom Shop guy) who overhauled it after a bunch of years of hard play, and his opinion was that the CV was as good or better in terms of materials and workmanship to MIM Fenders and many
Feb 25, 2018 · I don't think those made in China Fenders are fake, I'm pretty sure they're making Fenders there now. I don't have time to research it nor do I care to but I think that's the the deal. I don't think they stopped production either. Fender made the Modern Player line in China from about 2012 to 2015
